Skills and Learning Areas
The following is a list of areas of learning and skills in which we develop over the year together.
- Social Interaction-Children will learn and strengthen social skills by participating in small and large group activities together.
- Small Motor-includes experiences in which children learn to control hand and finger movements.
- Large Motor-includes experiences in which the arm leg and body muscles are used and strengthened.
- Music-includes songs and chants, moving to rhythms, making and listening to music.
- Five senses-children talk about their senses and develops thinking skills needed to understand such concepts.
- Art-includes providing children with materials and concepts to create pictures and other art projects.
- Dramatic Play-includes pretend play with dolls, stuffed animals, housekeeping toys and other props that help the child act out what they see happen every day.
- Daily Concepts-include learning about letters, numbers, shapes and colors.

12:00 – Outside/Large Motor Skills
12:30 – Nap
3:00 – Snack
3:30 – Outside/Free Play
4:00 – Small group activity
4:25 – Transition Time/Clean Up

6:00 – End of the Day
